The park consists of two sub-areas A and B with many items such as: an operator's house and a 666 m2 public restroom, two parking lots of nearly 4,000 m2, a 3,700 m2 children's playground, a 1,700 m2 sports field, a camping site of more than 2,100 m2... In addition, there is also an art sculpture garden, landscape hills, miniature landscape area, windbreak green trees, and a lighting system.

Thuong Chanh is the oldest beach in Phan Thiet with fine sand and gentle waves, located near the mouth of Ca Ty River, Hung Long Ward. Stopping here, looking towards Phu Hai, visitors can clearly see Ba Nai Hill where there are the ruins of Lau Ong Hoang, associated with the romantic love story of poet Han Mac Tu.

Before construction, the large area of land above Thuong Chanh beach was abandoned, with wild trees growing wildly, while below was a beautiful beach that attracted many locals and tourists every day.

Thuong Chanh Park is also one of the projects invested by Phan Thiet City People's Committee to beautify the urban area and the coastal city on the occasion of Binh Thuan hosting the National Tourism Year 2023.
