In an interview with the Education and Times Newspaper, Dr. Quan Minh Cuong, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Cao Bang Province, wondered: Building an inter-level boarding school is very much in line with practical needs and the people's wishes, but the important thing is how to promote this resource to educate students who are both good at knowledge and not far from reality, keeping in their souls the cultural identity, national customs, and attached to their parents, grandparents and the place where they were born?

Dr. Quan Minh Cuong pondered, citing advanced educational theories and models in the world and asserted that boarding school is one of such models.

Boarding schools must have adequate facilities, equipment, learning tools, sports areas, practice areas, experiences, etc. To effectively operate these items, it is necessary to have qualified, capable and enthusiastic staff and teachers. Teachers are the "soul" of the school and the ones who "breathe life" into creating well-rounded students. - Dr. Quan Minh Cuong emphasized.

Vice Chairman of Cao Bang Provincial People's Committee Trinh Truong Huy said enthusiastically: The Ministry of Education and Training is researching and will have a specific program for inter-level boarding schools in border areas, but it will definitely follow the current General Education Program and inherit and promote the programs of current ethnic boarding schools.

The province has directed the local education sector to closely follow existing educational programs and research additional local educational activities about Cao Bang's mountains and rivers to contribute to creating a comprehensive, friendly, and happy Cao Bang people.

Mr. Duong Xuan Huyen, Permanent Vice Chairman of Lang Son Provincial People's Committee, said: Lang Son Province has directed the Department of Education and Training to urgently develop and submit a plan to build primary and secondary boarding schools in border communes in the province; in which, it is necessary to determine the roadmap, specific stages of implementation, and clearly assign responsibilities to relevant agencies.

With the attention of the Central and the province, the Department of Education and Training of Cao Bang and the Department of Education and Training of Lang Son are coordinating with relevant agencies and units to best prepare conditions to ensure the quality of education, especially facilities and teaching staff.

In addition to the infrastructure system serving boarding and living activities, the Education sector also focuses on fully implementing policies to support students, staff, teachers and employees. The goal is to make the team feel secure in their work and dedication; students can study in the best conditions; and parents have more confidence when sending their children to the school.

Building boarding schools in border areas is one of the most important tasks implemented by the Cao Bang Provincial Education Department in the 2025-2026 school year.

Ms. Nguyen Ngoc Thu, Director of the Department of Education and Training of Cao Bang province said: We are preparing and selecting a team of cadres and teachers with qualifications, guaranteed capacity, and enthusiasm to contribute to education in remote areas and border communes.

Mr. Hoang Quoc Tuan, Director of the Department of Education and Training of Lang Son province informed: "We mobilize stronger participation of the People's Committees of communes and local communities, especially in creating a positive educational and cultural environment outside of school to supplement educational activities in schools and in propaganda and mobilization work for local people to support and assist the cause of educational development".

At the same time, the Education sector also focuses on implementing well the planning of preschool and general education facilities in the whole province, associated with investing in establishing inter-level boarding schools in border communes and associated with the construction of national standard schools, building new rural areas, and developing the socio-economy in disadvantaged areas; on that basis, there is a reasonable arrangement of the educational facility system in accordance with the socio-economic conditions in each locality, meeting the learning needs of the people; reasonably arranging and improving the quality of staff and teachers; minimizing the shortage of teachers.

A newly built school is the beginning of new dreams. And with the inter-level boarding schools about to be deployed in the border communes in the northern mountainous provinces, the work of education and nurturing the future will be more favorable so that each child in the border area has more opportunities to study, practice and grow up. From those schools full of knowledge and teacher-student love, a new generation of citizens in the homeland will grow up with intelligence, courage and a soul rich in identity, contributing to building the homeland to develop more sustainably and happily.
