Car causes multiple accidents in Quang Ngai, 3 people seriously injured

(PLVN) - On the morning of May 29, a serious traffic accident occurred on Phan Boi Chau Street (Quang Ngai City), leaving three people seriously injured and two cars severely damaged.

Initial information, at about 8:15 a.m. on May 29, a black car with license plate 76A-043.95, driven by a foreigner, was traveling on Phan Boi Chau Street in the South-North direction, through Le Hong Phong Ward ( Quang Ngai City, Quang Ngai Province).

When arriving in front of house number 164, the car suddenly collided with a motorbike with license plate 76U1-165.61 driven by a woman going in the same direction in front. The collision caused the woman to fall onto the road and was seriously injured.

However, the incident did not stop there. Car 76A-043.95 continued to speed, crashing into the back of car with license plate 76A-123.23 parked on the side of the road, about 50m from the scene of the first collision.

The car continued to lose control, went straight onto the sidewalk and hit a large tree in front of house number 179 before coming to a complete stop. As a result, in addition to the woman on the motorbike, the two people in the car that caused the accident were also seriously injured and were taken to the emergency room by local people.

The front and rear of the two cars were deformed and seriously damaged.

Authorities were present at the scene to regulate traffic, examine and investigate the cause of the incident. Initially, the identity of the foreign driver has not been released.

The accident continues to be investigated by Quang Ngai City Police to clarify the cause and handle it according to the provisions of law.
