Awarded the title of Vietnamese Bonsai Artist, ancient tree with historical and cultural value

The Provincial Ornamental Plants Association met to consider proposals for awarding the title of Ornamental Plants Artist at all levels.

The jury of the Provincial Ornamental Plants Association surveyed the gardens to learn and check the reality. The Provincial Ornamental Plants Association introduced 4 provincial-level artisans to propose the title of Vietnamese Ornamental Plants Artisan, including: Mr. Truong Quoc Hoan, Mr. Nguyen Xuan Sang, Mr. To Trong Bang and Mr. Pham Cong Bang, from the Luong Vuong Ornamental Plants Association ( Tuyen Quang City); proposed to consider conferring the title of provincial-level artisan to 9 artisans; proposed to confer the title to 5 typical gardeners; 5 ancient trees were proposed to be considered for conferring the title of ancient trees with historical and cultural value.

According to regulations, artisans proposed for the title of Vietnamese Bonsai Artist must be provincial-level artisans after 36 months and have works that have won provincial awards or higher. Ancient trees proposed for the award must be over 50 years old; the tree must have a diameter of 50 cm or more, have value associated with revolutionary events of the Party and State, associated with historical events, cultural achievements of ancestors related to the history of building and defending the country; associated with high-ranking leaders, celebrities, great cultural figures of the country planted...

This is an opportunity for members of the Provincial Ornamental Plants Association, gardeners, and artisans to exchange experiences, learn techniques for caring for, bending, and pruning ornamental plants... At the same time, it connects the market for ornamental plant consumption, promotes economic development, and contributes to the construction of new rural areas and advanced new rural areas in the area.
