Specifically, the performance “Swinging on the Lotus” performed by four female artists: Meritorious Artist Lo Ngoc Thuy, Pham Huong, Luu Huong, Hong Thuy of the Vietnam Circus Federation was awarded a Special Prize at the IDOL 2025 World Circus Festival held in Moscow (Russia), from July 17 to 20.
The festival brings together 15 countries, including: Russia, USA, China, North Korea, Vietnam, Mongolia, Hungary, Mexico, Ethiopia, Tanzania, Kazakhstan, Morocco, Australia, Portugal, Chile.
Surpassing many impressive entries from other countries, Vietnam's "Swinging Lotus" performance conquered the judges and viewers not only with its skillful technique but also with the way it staged the lotus image.

Along with the honor of receiving the Special Prize, the performance “Swinging Lotus” received an invitation to tour at the Circus on Lenin Hill – the cradle of the most professional and modern circus art in Russia today.
Following the success, the Vietnam Circus Federation immediately participated in the 3rd International Circus Festival taking place from July 23 to 26 in Almaty city (Kazakhstan) - an event held to celebrate the 55th anniversary of the founding of the Kazakhstan National Circus.
The festival brings together nearly 160 artists from 15 countries, with 28 performances divided into two programs A and B. People's Artist Tong Toan Thang, Director of the Vietnam Circus Federation, was invited to be a member of the Jury at this festival.

The Vietnam Circus Federation attended the Festival with the double rope act “Duo Love” performed by Meritorious Artist Thanh Tuan and Meritorious Artist Thu Huong. The act was highly appreciated for its excellent technique and emotional sublimation, especially in the scene where the two artists used their teeth to hang, creating the appearance of a kiss suspended in the air at a height of nearly 10 meters without using a safety rope; or the scene where artist Thu Huong hung on one leg on the rope, using her hair to support artist Thanh Tuan who bit his teeth and spun around below – a move that few artists in the world can perform.
“Duo Love” won the Gold Award in the award system including: 1 Granfix Award, 3 Gold Awards, 3 Silver Awards and 3 Bronze Awards. The Granfix Award went to Kazakhstan with the performance “Climbing Pillar”. The remaining 2 Gold Awards were awarded to the Collective Swing performance of Russia and the Mixed and Women's Leather Strap performance of Ukraine.
