The drawing starts at 5:15 p.m. and ends at around 5:30 p.m. Players are encouraged to tune in from 5:10 p.m. for timely updates. Results are announced live at each province’s studios and broadcast on local TV channels.
How to participate in Central Lottery (XSMT)
To participate in the Central Lottery on May 22, players need:
Buy lottery tickets: Lottery tickets cost 10,000 VND and are sold at official agents or ticket points nationwide. Each ticket consists of 6 digits, and players can buy multiple tickets to increase their chances of winning.
Check the results: After the draw, the player compares the numbers on the ticket with the announced results. The ticket wins when the digits match the prizes from the special prize to the eighth prize.
Claiming prizes: Winning tickets can be claimed at lottery agents or companies of the province that issued the tickets.
Note, only Vietnamese citizens, Vietnamese people residing abroad, or foreigners legally entering the country aged 18 or older and with full civil capacity are allowed to participate in purchasing lottery tickets.

The grand prize is the biggest prize, worth up to VND2 billion per winning ticket. The secondary and consolation prizes also offer significant rewards.
Central Lottery (XSMT) prize payment time
Lottery companies issuing Central Lottery tickets (SXMN) are obliged to pay prizes to winners according to the rules that have been widely announced. This is to ensure the legal rights of players when participating in the lottery.
The maximum time for paying the prize is 5 working days from the date the company receives the complete and valid prize claim documents. This process is usually carried out transparently and quickly so that the winner receives the money on time.
If there is a dispute or complaint regarding the results of the draw or the right to receive the prize, the payment may be suspended. In that case, the company will wait for the official conclusion from the competent authority to resolve.
Ensuring the correct payment process not only protects the rights of players but also contributes to building trust and fairness in Central Lottery (SXMN) activities.
