Inspection and supervision work will continue to be strengthened to strictly handle violations in the pharmaceutical sector to protect consumer rights and maintain order in pharmaceutical business activities in the area.

Previously, the Department of Health issued a decision to establish a surprise inspection team to inspect the implementation of legal regulations in the trading of drugs, cosmetics, and food in Lao Cai province to suddenly inspect the compliance with legal regulations in the trading of drugs, cosmetics, and food at pharmacies, drug stores, and food businesses in the province; take samples for quality testing (if any).
