Targeting potential international markets

With the goal in 2024 of increasing promotion in potential markets to strongly attract international tourists back to Binh Thuan, Binh Thuan tourism will focus on two potential markets: Korea and India.

In the Korean market, it will participate in promoting tourism images at the Seoul International Tourism Fair. The tourism industry will organize a program to promote Binh Thuan tourism destinations (Roadshow) and meet to connect trade with tourism promotion agencies and tourism businesses in Korea. Binh Thuan will also welcome Famtrip and Presstrip delegations from the "land of kimchi" to visit, survey destinations, tourism products, meet to connect trade and sign cooperation agreements between tourism businesses on both sides.

For the “most populous market in the world”, at the end of 2023, the province welcomed the Consulate General of India in Ho Chi Minh City with the participation of a number of major Indian travel agencies to attend the Workshop “Promoting Tourism in India - Coastal Provinces of Vietnam”. Aiming at this potential market, tourism also participated in the program to introduce Vietnamese Tourism in India.

Special sea tourism products

One of the new tours associated with the coastal culture of Binh Thuan is the journey to discover the 300-year history of Phan Thiet fish sauce making. After visiting Mui Ne Fishing Village, visitors will visit fish sauce processing facilities from wooden barrels to cement tanks. The journey of "Phan Thiet fish sauce" will continue at the Museum of Ancient Fishing Village Fish Sauce and end with the Water Music Stage - Legend of Fishing Village.
