The victory on April 30, 1975 was the greatest achievement in the cause of national liberation led by our Party and President Ho Chi Minh ; it was a glorious and brilliant page in the history of the nation's thousands of years of building and defending the country.
The immortal spirit of those historic April days still lies deep in the subconscious of our people with both pain and happiness... But that is also the "fire" for us, the previous generation who wrote the tradition of "Van Mai girls, Tong Dau boys" in our homeland Mai Chau to pass on to our descendants and the young generation today on this land.

During the resistance war against the US, Hoa Binh province mobilized tens of thousands of young people to join the army, fight and carry out well the task of economic development in the Northern rear. Many outstanding sons of the province went to war, not sparing their blood and bones for the ideal of independence - freedom - national unification. Their names and achievements have become symbols of patriotism, of the spirit of "nothing is more precious than independence and freedom". Thanks to that, the effectiveness of the militia's operations has been improved, and it has coordinated with other forces to detect, prevent and effectively handle sabotage activities of hostile forces. In particular, it has been active, proactive and core with the entire population in participating in flood and storm prevention and control, search and rescue, fire prevention and fighting, forest protection, overcoming the consequences of natural disasters, contributing with other forces to maintain political stability, social order and safety in the locality...
To continue promoting the role of the militia, we hope to innovate the program, content, and training methods for the Commanders of the Military Command at the commune level. Strengthen the training and education of militia officers in politics, law, and military training; focus on training and improving the qualifications, capacity, and ability to organize, command, and train cadres at all levels, and conduct training according to decentralization. Ensure full and timely regimes and policies for militia, especially in difficult localities; strive for many localities to have a higher level of guarantee than the income of local laborers. Do a good job of policy work for families of militia officers and soldiers who are in difficulty, sick, injured, deceased, or sacrificed.

Immediately after Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW, dated December 22, 2024 of the Politburo on science and technology development, innovation and digital transformation (DT) was issued, the Hoa Binh Provincial Party Committee organized an online conference to study, learn and disseminate the resolution to all party members, civil servants, public employees and workers in the whole province. The Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee issued Action Program No. 33-CTr/TU, dated February 20, 2025, to implement Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW. The Provincial People's Committee issued Plan No. 59/KH-UBND to implement Resolution No. 03/NQ-CP, dated January 9, 2025 of the Government and Action Program No. 33-CTr/TU.
