Vietnam's representative at this year's contest is beauty Ý Nhi. She was crowned Miss World Vietnam 2023 and has spent nearly 2 years preparing for one of the most fierce beauty contests on the planet.

Recently, Miss Ý Nhi continued to make a strong impression when appearing on Indian television. The Vietnamese representative confidently answered questions about her memorable experiences at the contest when interviewed by reporters.

She said in English: "My first experience was probably about the people here. The Indian people are very friendly and kind. I received a lot of love here. I feel like home here. Therefore, I no longer feel homesick. Everyone here always accompanies and sticks together."

On the evening of May 10, Miss Ý Nhi and other contestants of the Miss World 2025 pageant attended the opening event of this year's contest.

Ý Nhi's performance of Wild Dance was applauded by the reigning Miss World. The Vietnamese representative performed energetic dance moves. She spun around many times, changing her movements continuously to the vibrant music.

It is known that before participating in Miss World 2025, Y Nhi had a lot of time to prepare. She focused on practicing English, behavior and performance skills. Before that, the beauty had spent nearly a year studying in Australia.

At the Miss World 2025 contest, Y Nhi brought the charity project Heart To Head - Journey of hearts and minds , focusing on building and repairing schools, donating bookshelves to encourage reading habits for children in the highlands.

After a week of performing at the Miss World 2025 pageant, Ý Nhi received compliments from fellow contestants and beauty sites. Missosology predicted that the Vietnamese representative would make it into the top 15 of this year's pageant, while an Indonesian beauty site said Ý Nhi would be crowned the winner.

Huynh Tran Y Nhi (born 2002) won the crown of Miss World Vietnam 2023. Before becoming Miss World Vietnam 2023, the beauty had won a number of domestic beauty awards.

Y Nhi is 1.75m tall, has a harmonious face and an impressive academic record. She is a student majoring in Business Administration at International University - Ho Chi Minh City National University.

After being crowned, Ý Nhi chose to withdraw for a long time to study abroad. In 2024, she temporarily put her studies in Australia on hold to focus on training her skills to prepare for the Miss World 2025 contest.

The Miss World pageant is one of the two largest international beauty pageants of the year. The finals will take place on May 31 in India. The 2025 edition is the 72nd edition of the pageant and features a large number of contestants, up to more than 110 beauties from all over the world.

Up to now, Lan Khue is the Vietnamese contestant with the highest achievement at the Miss World arena when she entered the top 11 thanks to winning the audience vote and winning the World Fashion Designer Award.

At the Miss World 2024 contest, Vietnam's representative is the beauty Huynh Nguyen Mai Phuong. She stopped at the top 40 to the regret of the audience.
