Production and business establishments in the province are stable, goods on the market are diverse and abundant. Total retail sales of goods and services in March 2025 are estimated at VND 2,809.8 billion, up 0.71% over the previous month, up 21.16% over the same period last year. In the first quarter of 2025, total retail sales of goods and service revenue reached VND 8,450.4 billion, up 21.32% over the same period last year. Of which: retail sales of goods are estimated to account for 80.41% of total retail sales of goods and services, up 16.9% over the same period; accommodation, food and beverage services, and travel and tourism account for 10.9%, up 54.27% over the same period; Other services accounted for 8.69%, up 32.12% over the same period last year. Service revenue in the first quarter of 2025 is estimated at 733.8 billion VND, up 32.12% over the previous year; accommodation, food and beverage, and travel service revenue in the first quarter of 2025 is estimated at 921.8 billion VND, up 54.27% over the same period.

Total wholesale sales of goods in Yen Bai province in March 2025 are estimated at VND 2,021.4 billion, up 0.71% over the previous month and 16.13% over the same period last year. The first quarter of 2025 is estimated at VND 6,109.4 billion, up 17.41% over the previous year.
