10 police department leaders apply for early retirement

On February 17, Nam Dinh Provincial Police held a ceremony to announce the decision of the Provincial Police Director on personnel work.

According to the announced decisions, the Director of Nam Dinh Provincial Police decided to allow 10 officers who are leaders of some professional departments, units under the Provincial Police, and leaders of district-level Police to retire early.

Director of Nam Dinh Provincial Police Nguyen Huu Manh presented retirement decisions to officials who are leaders of departments and units under the Provincial Police.

The 10 officers include: Colonel Ngo Manh Ha, Head of Logistics Department; Colonel Pham Van Oanh, Head of Criminal Judgment Execution and Judicial Support Department; Colonel Le Thanh Nam, Head of Foreign Security Department; Colonel Duong Quang Thanh, Head of Records Department; Colonel Dang Quang Tuyen, Head of Economic Security Department; Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Van Sy, Deputy Head of Xuan Truong District Police; Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Truong Son, Deputy Head of the Department of Administrative Police for Social Order; Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Van Chien, Deputy Head of the Department of Administrative Police for Social Order; Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Van Cong, Deputy Warden of the Provincial Police Detention Center; Lieutenant Colonel Tran Van Cuong, Deputy Head of the Department of Criminal Judgment Execution and Judicial Support.

Previously, the Director of Nam Dinh Provincial Police also decided to let Lieutenant Colonel Le Anh Tuan, Head of the Y Yen District Police; Lieutenant Colonel Pham Thanh Nguyen, Head of the Mobile Police Department; and Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Minh Thang, Deputy Head of the Nghia Hung District Police retire early.

Information at the ceremony said that, with the spirit of being exemplary and taking the lead in implementing the policy of rearranging and streamlining the organization and apparatus, the 13 cadres above volunteered to retire early, creating favorable conditions for the organization in rearranging and streamlining the apparatus. Of these, 5 cadres requested to retire with 30 to less than 60 months of remaining working time (2 Department Heads, 1 District Police Chief, 2 Deputy Department Heads).

Also according to information at the ceremony, in addition to 13 officers who requested early retirement, up to now, the Nam Dinh Provincial Police force has 55 leaders and commanders volunteering to take on lower positions (1 Department Head, 1 District Police Chief; 1 Deputy District Police Chief, 38 Team Leaders, 6 Commune Police Chiefs, 8 Deputy Team Leaders) to facilitate organizational work when implementing the arrangement and streamlining of the Provincial Police's apparatus.

Colonel Dang Quang Tuyen, Head of Economic Security Department, one of the officials who requested early retirement, spoke and shared at the ceremony.

Speaking at the ceremony, Colonel Nguyen Huu Manh, Director of Nam Dinh Provincial Police, commended and acknowledged the contributions and dedication of the 68 police officers above; highly appreciated the spirit of solidarity, exemplary, and willingness to devote to the common political task of the Provincial Police, creating favorable conditions for the organization in implementing the policy of streamlining the organization and apparatus.

The leaders of Nam Dinh Provincial Police directed the Party Committee and leaders of affiliated units to continue to do a good job in political and ideological work, especially for district-level police officers directly affected by the reorganization and streamlining of the apparatus, encouraging officers and soldiers to work with peace of mind, ready to go anywhere, do anything, and complete assigned tasks well and excellently.
