The grassroots women's congress for the 2025-2030 term in Nghe An was officially held from September 26 to October 29, 2025. 100% of communes and wards successfully organized the congress, ensuring progress, quality and safety.
General assessment from the Standing Committee of the Provincial Women's Union: The grassroots women's congress was organized solemnly, following the correct procedures, ensuring democracy and objectivity. The political report presented to the Congress was carefully prepared, comprehensively assessing the results of the past term, clearly identifying the directions, tasks and breakthroughs of the 2025 - 2030 term, in accordance with the practical situation.
The Executive Committee's review report demonstrates a serious and frank spirit, clearly pointing out the strengths, limitations and lessons learned in leadership and management.
The opinions presented at the Congress were diverse, representing many fields, clearly reflecting the role and contributions of women in emulation movements and campaigns launched by the Association. Many high-quality presentations proposed practical solutions to innovate the content and methods of the Association's activities in the new period.
Personnel preparation work was carried out systematically, following the process and principles of democratic centralism. 121/130 commune-level units after the merger appointed the Executive Committee, Standing Committee and key positions, Inspection Committee members, Head of Inspection Committee members of the Commune-level Women's Union; 9 commune-level units did not arrange or merge administrative units to organize direct elections at the Congress.
As a result, the new Executive Committee of the Women's Union at the grassroots level ensures all three age groups, with inheritance and rejuvenation. Specifically, 70% of units have a proportion of cadres under 40 years old participating in the Executive Committee reaching 15% or more. Regarding the President of the grassroots Union, 100% have university and post-graduate degrees; 89% have intermediate political theory degrees, 11% are advanced.
The new point in this Congress is the widespread propaganda work, rich in form and effective in content; especially promoting the role of social networks to propagate, creating a deep spread of the image and role of the Women's Union at the grassroots level in the past time and the new journey to a large number of cadres, members and people.
The organization and operation of the Congress were solemn, safe, economical, creating a vibrant competitive atmosphere, encouraging solidarity and creativity, affirming the role and position of women in local socio -economic development; especially strictly implementing the motto "5 no's": no flowers, no gifts, no performances, no paper documents, no plastic waste.
The success of the grassroots women's congress for the 2025-2030 term is an important premise for the Women's Union at all levels to continue to innovate the content and methods of operation, improve the capacity of cadres, promote the role, arouse the desire to contribute of Nghe An women, contributing to the successful implementation of the development goals of Nghe An province according to the Resolution of the 20th Provincial Party Congress, term 2025-2030 and towards the 14th National Women's Congress.
