12 individuals and organizations are banned from trading securities because of Mr. Do Thanh Nhan

Based on the conclusion of the police agency's supplementary investigation of the criminal case, on January 19, the State Securities Commission (SSC) issued a decision to impose administrative sanctions on 12 organizations and individuals.

The individuals include Ha Nguyen Uyen, Huynh Nguyen Huong Tra, Ngo Thi Hoai Thanh, Ngo Thi Hoai Thuong, Nguyen Thi Kieu Lien, Nguyen Thi Minh Hiep, Phan Thi Nga, Phan Thi Thanh Sen, Phan Thi Thuong, and Le Quang Nhuan. The organizations are Louis Holdings JSC and The Golden Group JSC (formerly Louis Capital JSC).

Accordingly, the State Securities Commission decided to suspend securities transactions of 12 organizations and individuals on 12 digital accounts opened at Tri Viet Securities JSC (HoSE: TVB) and 2 accounts opened at APG Securities JSC (HoSE: APG) for a period of 9 months from January 19, 2024 due to violations of lending accounts to others to trade securities, leading to manipulation of the stock market.

The 12 organizations and individuals mentioned above lent Mr. Do Thanh Nhan their accounts to trade securities, leading to stock market manipulation for the stock codes BII and TGG.

According to the State Securities Commission, based on the investigation conclusion of the police agency, the 12 organizations and individuals mentioned above did not have any illegal income from the violation.

In addition, the State Securities Commission also issued a Decision on applying preventive measures to stop violations of the law on securities and the securities market against the above individuals and organizations.

One is to ban securities trading for a period of 2 years from January 19, 2024. Two is to ban holding positions at securities companies, securities investment fund management companies, branches of foreign securities companies and fund management companies in Vietnam, and securities investment companies for a period of 2 years from January 19, 2024 .
