16 people hospitalized with suspected food poisoning

On the afternoon of August 14, Phuong Bac General Hospital received 16 cases of workers from two companies: Creenhome Flooring Co., Ltd. and Victory Sporting Goods Tuyen Quang Shoe Co., Ltd. located in Yen Son commune with symptoms of headache, dizziness, vomiting, fatigue, frequent diarrhea, itching, rash, suspected of food poisoning.

The patients are being monitored and treated at Phuong Bac General Hospital.

The number of patients previously hospitalized had lunch at the company (lunch on August 14 of the two companies above was provided by the same company). It is known that the above cases showed the above signs after finishing lunch. Immediately after that, all 16 cases were taken to Phuong Bac General Hospital for examination, monitoring and treatment.
Currently, all patients are conscious and in stable health. The Department of Health has coordinated with relevant agencies and the People's Committee of Yen Son commune to investigate and collect food samples from the patients for testing, while also coordinating to investigate the origin of the food and handle the environment in the area where the incident occurred.
