18 localities 'reach the finish line' of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses

Many localities announced the completion of the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses.

Thus, as of the morning of May 18, 2025, 18/63 localities nationwide no longer have temporary or dilapidated houses. With 4 localities just completed, the statistics are updated specifically as follows:

Son La has completed the demolition of 3,058 houses (2,653 new houses, 405 houses repaired).

In which: Housing support for people with revolutionary contributions and martyrs' relatives: 200 houses (98 new houses, 102 repaired houses); housing support under the National Target Program for Sustainable Poverty Reduction: 314 houses (213 new houses, 101 repaired houses); housing support under the Program to launch the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses: 2,544 houses (2,342 new houses, 202 repaired houses).

Binh Dinh has completed the demolition of 4,411 houses (2,531 new houses, 1,880 houses repaired).

In which: Housing support for people with revolutionary contributions and martyrs' relatives: 2,224 apartments (893 newly built, 1,331 repaired); housing support under the National Target Program for Sustainable Poverty Reduction: 109 apartments (64 newly built, 45 repaired); housing support under the Program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses: 2,078 apartments (1,574 newly built, 504 repaired).

Binh Phuoc has completed the demolition of 765 houses.

Including: Housing support for people with revolutionary contributions and martyrs' relatives: 140 houses; housing support under the Program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses: 625 houses.

Hau Giang has completed the demolition of 1,479 houses (833 new houses, 646 houses repaired).

In which: Housing support for people with revolutionary contributions, martyrs' relatives: 420 houses (127 new houses, 293 repaired houses); poor households supported with housing under the National Target Program for Socio-Economic Development in Ethnic Minority Areas in the area: 12 houses (12 new houses); housing support under the Program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses: 1,047 houses (694 new houses, 353 repaired houses).

18 localities have completed the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses, including: Hanoi, Hai Phong, Quang Ninh, Vinh Phuc, Ho Chi Minh City, Ba Ria - Vung Tau, Bac Ninh, Can Tho, Khanh Hoa, Tay Ninh, Thai Nguyen, Kien Giang, Binh Phuoc, Vinh Long, Tra Vinh, Son La, Binh Dinh, Hau Giang.
