
The program was organized by the World Flower Council (WFC) in collaboration with Dalat University with the participation of 200 delegates and artisans from 18 countries and territories.
This is the 37th event of the World Flower Association, taking place for the first time in the city of thousands of flowers, Da Lat and Vietnam. The event aims to honor the values of flowers and the flower industry, continuing to maintain the mission of spreading world peace through sharing love and knowledge about flowers, making flowers a symbol of peace and culture, regardless of national boundaries. This is also an event towards the 130th anniversary of the formation and development of Da Lat city.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, President of the World Flower Association Efren Chatto affirmed that the event is an opportunity for flower arrangers to meet and connect as a big family to support world peace through floral artworks. Each flower has its own beauty and meaning, promoting friendship and connection, thereby conveying friendship and creating a better world.

Immediately after the opening ceremony, 6 floral designers from Singapore, Malaysia, Korea, Japan, Macau (China), Hong Kong (China) performed live flower arrangement on stage and completed extremely impressive works from fresh flowers. Also within the framework of the program, 18 designers, representing 18 countries and territories continued to participate in the category of Artistic Flower Arrangement Performance on Stage (My Country Design) to introduce the most meaningful works of fresh flower decoration art.




The World Flower Association is a non-profit organization with members from more than 40 countries, the association was established to promote and develop the fresh flower industry globally. After 40 years of establishment and development with 36 events taking place in many different countries, the International Flower Arrangement Exhibition and Competition has become a prestigious event with the longest tradition in the flower industry, receiving the attention and support of the public, experts and designers around the world.
The 2023 International Flower Arrangement Competition will end and award prizes on the afternoon of September 11.
