The 2025 Vegetarian Food Festival is organized by the Ho Chi Minh City Culinary Association (FBA) in coordination with the People's Committee of Binh Phu Ward, Ho Chi Minh City and related units. The festival aims to honor Vietnamese vegetarian cuisine, encourage green lifestyle, connect the community, contribute to building the image of Ho Chi Minh City as a leading destination for green and sustainable tourism and cuisine and become the " World Vegetarian Cuisine Capital".

From rustic ingredients such as Dong Thap lotus, organic vegetables from the West, brown rice and Vietnamese beans, FBA's chefs have created more than 200 rich vegetarian dishes, both sophisticated in flavor and rich in regional identity. Each dish is a green - clean - healthy message, calling on the community to eat vegetarian for health, for the environment and for a compassionate heart.



The organizers said that this is not only a recognized record, but also a symbol of the unlimited creativity of Vietnamese people in the journey of spreading vegetarian culinary culture to the world.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Quynh Ngoc, Deputy Director of Vietnam Records Institute, General Secretary of the Vietnam Records Organization Council announced the appraisal results and awarded the Vietnam Record Certificate to the Ho Chi Minh City Culinary Association and Mena Gourmet Supermarket.

The event of setting a Vietnamese record for 200 vegetarian dishes made from lotus is the highlight of the series of activities of the Ho Chi Minh City Vegetarian Food Festival 2025 - a festival honoring Vietnamese culinary culture, aiming for a green, healthy and happy lifestyle.
After 3 days (from October 31 to November 2, 2025) at Binh Phu Park, the festival attracted an estimated 120,000 visitors to visit, experience and enjoy cultural and culinary activities...

The festival is becoming a unique "green festival destination", a cultural - tourism - culinary and community event of Ho Chi Minh City with a large number of visitors at the end of 2025, showing the great attraction of vegetarian cuisine - green cuisine - sustainable living for city residents, tourists and young people.
The quality of visitors' experience is well-recognized, with diverse dishes, beautiful displays, green and clean space, attractive cultural activities, conference areas, and well-organized vocational playgrounds.
Right at the opening ceremony, the Organizing Committee gave 200 loving gifts to poor but studious students of Binh Phu ward, demonstrating the spirit of a green festival but not forgetting social security.

The program took place at the 2025 International Vegetarian Cuisine Conference with the participation of more than 20 speakers from 15 countries with developed vegetarian cuisine (India, Thailand, Singapore, Japan, Brazil, Korea...) organized by the World Vegetarian Alliance.

Mr. Nguyen Tan Viet, Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City Culinary Association, said that the results of the first 3 days showed that vegetarian cuisine is no longer a small trend, but has become a new cultural and economic flow. This year's festival is not only for delicious food, but also for living beautifully, living greenly and for the F&B industry of Ho Chi Minh City to turn a new page: greener - kinder - more sustainable.
