This year, Ho Chi Minh City has 76,435 students registered for the 10th grade exam. Candidates for public 10th grade exams will take 3 subjects: Literature, Math in 120 minutes, English in 90 minutes. Candidates registering for Le Hong Phong High School for the Gifted and Tran Dai Nghia High School for the Gifted will take an additional 150-minute specialized subject exam. Candidates wishing to enter 10th grade with integrated English will take an integrated exam in 150 minutes.

Meanwhile, the quota for public schools this year is 70,070. So just over 6,000 candidates were eliminated. The race to enter public grade 10 in Ho Chi Minh City has never been so open.

Tomorrow (June 7), students will have a 120-minute Math exam and a 150-minute specialized and integrated subject exam.
