3 passenger buses collided on Hue City bypass, many people injured

(PLVN) - In the early morning of June 7, the police force was still blocking off the scene, investigating the cause of a serious traffic accident involving three passenger buses that occurred on National Highway 1A, the section avoiding Hue City (Thua Thien Hue Province), leaving many people injured.

Initial information, at the time of the accident, 3 passenger cars with license plates 43B-019.53 (driver Pham Thai Son, born in 1993, residing in Minh Hoa, Quang Binh), 37H-148.81 (driver Bui Hung Manh, born in 1985, residing in Nghe An ) and 37H-149.08 (driver Nguyen Dinh Toan, born in 1989, residing in Nghe An) were traveling in the South - North direction.

Upon arriving at the above location, passenger bus 43B-019.53 suddenly hit the back of bus 37H-148.81, causing a chain collision that severely damaged all three vehicles.

The accident caused 3 passenger cars to be severely damaged.

At the time of the accident, all three buses were carrying a total of 108 people. Of these, bus 37H-148.81 had 40 passengers, bus 37H-149.08 had 28 passengers, and bus 43B-019.53 had 40 passengers.

The strong collision seriously injured the assistant driver of bus 43B-019.53 and 4 passengers on this bus; 4 passengers on bus 37H-148.81 were injured due to impact with the bus door. The remaining 3 buses were severely damaged.

Upon receiving the news, Hue City Traffic Police quickly arrived to regulate traffic and coordinate the investigation of the accident.

The case continues to be investigated and clarified by the authorities.
