319 candidates take the first driving test organized by the Provincial Police - Lang Son Newspaper and Radio and Television Station

- On May 16, at Minh Long Driving Test Center (Binh Phuc Commune, Van Quan District), the Traffic Police Department of the Provincial Police organized the first driving test and license issuance session since taking over the task from the Department of Transport.

The exam was attended by 319 candidates, including 269 new candidates and 50 candidates retaking the theory test. Candidates underwent test contents including theory on computer, traffic simulation, driving practice on the field and on the road. The exam used a modern camera and sensor system to ensure objectivity and accuracy in evaluating results.

The leader of the Provincial Traffic Police Department gave an opening speech at the examination.

New point according to Circular 12/2025/TT-BCA of the Ministry of Public Security , the exam organized by the police, candidates who fail the theory part can still take the practical exam, the results of the passing part will be kept for one year. This new regulation helps save time and costs for learners.

Currently, the province still has about 6,000 applications for car and motorbike driving license testing and issuance. In the coming time, the Traffic Police Department will continue to coordinate with testing centers in the area to organize continuous exams to resolve the backlog of students waiting to take the exam due to the previous transfer process.
