On October 24, the People's Committee of Bu Dang District ( Binh Phuoc ) held a press conference to announce activities to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Bu Dang Liberation Day (December 14, 1974 - December 14, 2024) and the festival "The sound of pestles echoes forever in Bom Bo village".

Today, Bom Bo has been built and developed in the Bom Bo S'tieng Ethnic Cultural Conservation Area (Binh Minh Commune, Bu Dang District). This is a place to preserve, conserve and promote the typical cultural features of the S'tieng people in the Southeast region. According to the organizers, the festival will take place for 3 days (November 8-10, 2024) at the Stieng Ethnic Cultural Reserve in Bom Bo, and is expected to attract thousands of tourists to visit and experience. Notable activities include: exhibitions; stick pushing and rice pounding competitions; the "Community Friendship" festival of the Stieng people; concert performance of 50 lithophones; "Road to Bom Bo" cross-country run; "Taste by the Torchlight of Lo O" culinary festival...

Mr. Nguyen Van Luu, Vice Chairman of Bu Dang District People's Committee, said that this is the first time the festival "The sound of pestles echoing on Bom Bo village" has been held in the locality.
