75 teams compete in high school and middle school basketball tournament

With the League format, playing home and away, the Tien Phong and Children's Newspaper Basketball Tournament (VSBL) organized by the Tien Phong and Children's Newspaper, Basketball TV and the American Sports Education Academy ASA has become an annual tournament that schools look forward to and is the leading attractive school basketball tournament.

Different from other tournaments that are being held, at VSBL, players have many opportunities to compete and compete in many matches because the first phase is organized for home and away matches, welcoming other teams to play at their school's basketball court as well as having the opportunity to visit and compete at other schools.

VBSL is a notable school basketball league.

After two years of being held in Hanoi, VBSL has become an indispensable sports playground in the annual plans of middle and high schools. Currently, there are 50 high school teams and 25 middle school teams registered to participate in the tournament. The organizing committee will hold a preliminary round for high school from October 30 to November 5, 2023 to find 24 participating teams.

Phase 1 of the group stage with home and away matches for both groups will take place from November 13 to December 24, 2023. This is the stage where schools welcome other teams to compete, visit the school as well as organize exciting cheering teams, an opportunity for students in the school to bond. Phase 2 of the playoff - final will take place from January 6, 2024 to February 4, 2024 with a centralized competition format.

Basketball practice and competition contribute to the physical development, thinking and life skills of school-age students. With the enthusiastic response of schools in Hanoi, the Basketball Tournament of Thieu Nien Tien Phong and Nhi Dong Newspapers for the 2023-2024 school year will promote the school sports movement, creating a playground for middle and high school students to have the opportunity to compete and express their love for basketball; schools have additional extracurricular sports outside of school hours, contributing to expressing the personality and strengths of the school.
