On the morning of May 26, information from the Management Board of the Southeast Economic Zone (Nghe An) said that the Provincial People's Committee has established an interdisciplinary team to clarify the case of 8 workers working at Chau Tien Company Limited suffering from pneumoconiosis.

According to initial information, recently, at Chau Tien Company Limited (located in Dong Nam Economic Zone, Nghi Loc district), 8 workers suffered from pneumoconiosis, of which 3 died, 1 is on oxygen; the rest had to have their lungs washed and had surgery, their health declined.

Immediately after receiving the report from Nghi Loc District People's Committee about the incident, the Management Board of Dong Nam Economic Zone reported to the Provincial People's Committee to establish an interdisciplinary inspection team to inspect and investigate occupational diseases, the working environment, and monitor the working environment...

It is known that Chau Tien Company Limited is a unit specializing in trading and producing stone powder, with 33 employees working here.
