Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of An Chau Commune, Pham Thi Thu Dan, said that in recent times, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the commune has actively coordinated with sectors and socio -political organizations to effectively carry out key tasks, with diverse contents and methods, close to reality, focusing on the grassroots, promoting the strength of great national unity, actively contributing with the political system to socio-economic development.

The Vietnam Fatherland Front of the commune pays attention to propaganda and mobilization work, widely gathering people from all walks of life, creating unity and high consensus in society. At the same time, it focuses on propaganda and mobilization of people to implement the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws; actively participate in responding to emulation movements and campaigns launched by the Central and the province.

Identifying propaganda and mobilization as a key and continuous task, the Hoa Thuan Hamlet Front Work Committee has implemented it in a variety of forms, suitable to local conditions and each target. The Hamlet Front Work Committee always focuses on grasping the situation of public opinion, thoughts and aspirations of the people, through meetings, contacts and dialogues to promptly reflect the legitimate opinions of the people to the Party Committee and the government, contributing to strengthening trust and creating social consensus. Prestigious people among ethnic and religious people, retired cadres and intellectuals play a role in propagating and mobilizing people to participate in patriotic emulation movements and campaigns launched by the locality.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoang Oanh - Head of the Front Work Committee of Hoa Thuan Hamlet said: "Through the good implementation of propaganda and mobilization work, it has contributed to raising people's awareness in complying with the Party's guidelines and policies, the Party's and State's policies and laws, promoting local socio -economic development, and improving people's material and spiritual life. In particular, social evils have been pushed back, security and order have been ensured...".

Promoting the spirit of mutual love, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of An Chau commune coordinated with the government to actively mobilize resources to care for the poor. The commune actively mobilized people to donate land, contribute labor and money to build bridges, roads, carry out social security activities, build new rural areas... with many good, practical and effective ways. Over the past 5 years, An Chau has mobilized more than 22 billion VND for the fund for the poor and social security. Thereby, organizing visits and giving gifts to policy families, poor and near-poor households; providing emergency support to cases in difficulty, people overcoming natural disasters and epidemics; building 50 new solidarity houses; building bridges, patching roads, installing street lights. Up to now, there are no more temporary or dilapidated houses in the commune. 100% of families in the commune when facing natural disasters or incidents have received timely support and assistance.

The dream of having a solid house has come true for the family of Mrs. Nguyen Thi Diem Kieu, residing in Hamlet Hoa Long 3. Mrs. Kieu and her four children no longer live in a makeshift, dilapidated house. The 48m2 solidarity house was handed over to her, with a total construction cost of more than 60 million VND mobilized by the local government and contributed by the family. “Thanks to the government's support, my family has a new, solid house like this. I will try harder to provide my children with a better life,” Mrs. Kieu happily shared.

According to Ms. Pham Thi Thu Dan, in the 2025 - 2030 term, the Vietnam Fatherland Front of the commune will continue to innovate its content and methods of operation in a practical, flexible, close-to-the-people, and grassroots direction; promote its core role in building and consolidating the great national unity bloc. At the same time, proactively grasp the situation, promptly reflect the legitimate thoughts and aspirations of the people, participate in building a clean and strong Party and government. An Chau will promote democracy, create social consensus, encourage patriotic emulation movements, practical campaigns associated with socio-economic development, and maintain national defense and security in the locality.
