On the morning of December 16th, the An Giang Provincial Police Investigation Agency announced that it had completed its investigation and transferred the case file to the Provincial People's Procuracy, requesting the prosecution of Doan Ba ​​Tuoc (born in 2004, residing in Rach Gia Ward, An Giang Province) for the crime of rape.

The investigation revealed that on March 19th, through social media, Doan Ba ​​Tuoc befriended D.TTL (born in 2009, residing in An Giang province). While chatting via messages, Tuoc enticed L to send sensitive photos in exchange for money.

Believing him, L video called Tước to show him the sensitive images. Tước promised to transfer 8 million VND to L, but he later failed to do so, leading L to block Tước's Messenger account. Unable to contact L, Tước sent many of L's sensitive images to L's friends.

Upon learning of the situation, L unblocked Tước on Messenger, after which Tước sent L numerous sensitive images and threatened to force her into sexual relations, otherwise he would post the sensitive images of L on social media. Fearing the release of her sensitive images online, on March 20, 2025, L was forced to go with Tước to a motel. Subsequently, based on L's account, her relatives filed a complaint against Tước for his criminal behavior.
