On October 13, at Lam Vien Square, Da Lat city, the opening ceremony of the 9th "For National Security" Sports Congress and the 6th People's Public Security Regulation, Military and Martial Arts Competition - Region 3 took place.

This is an important sports and political event of the Ministry of Public Security , commemorating the 80th anniversary of the People's Public Security Traditional Day (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025), the 20th anniversary of the National Day for National Security Protection (ANTQ), and also an activity to welcome the 10th Da Lat Flower Festival in 2024.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee Tran Hong Thai said that being chosen by the Ministry of Public Security as the venue for the Congress and Competition, the Party Committee and the Government of Lam Dong province determined that this was both an honor and a favorable condition for cadres, people and the provincial police force to have the opportunity to exchange, learn and share experiences with the police of units and localities in training their health, improving their professional qualifications, contributing to building the People's Police force in general, and the Lam Dong Police force in particular, to be increasingly clean, disciplined, elite and modern, meeting the requirements and tasks in the new situation.
