NDO - On the afternoon of October 16, at the National Convention Center ( Hanoi ), the 10th National Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, term 2024-2029, officially entered its first working session.

In the first working session, the Congress consulted and elected the Congress Presidium consisting of 55 members and the Congress Secretariat consisting of 5 members; discussed and approved the Congress's Program and Working Regulations; and listened to reports on the situation of delegates attending the Congress.

With the theme "Solidarity-Democracy-Innovation-Creativity-Development", the Congress reviewed the work of the Front for the 2019-2024 term; discussed and approved the goals and Action Program for the 2024-2029 term; approved the Charter of the Vietnam Fatherland Front for the 10th term; consulted to elect the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front for the 10th term...

Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Do Van Chien and other Party and State leaders and delegates attending the Congress.

Attending the Congress were 1,052 delegates representing classes, social strata, ethnic groups, religions, armed forces, overseas Vietnamese and Front officials at all levels.

Delegates voted to approve the working contents of the Congress.

The Presidium runs the Congress.
