Destination Deluxe Magazine (Hong Kong) named three hotels in Vietnam among the world's leading resorts.
The three hotels that won the "Destination Deluxe Award 2023" include Six Senses Ninh Van Bay (Nha Trang, Khanh Hoa), InterContinental Danang Sun Penisula Resort ( Da Nang ) and TIA Wellness Resort ( Da Nang ).
The resort in Nha Trang won the "Eco-Friendly Hotel of the Year" category, beating out two other names from Cambodia and the US. In the "Holistic Treatment of the Year" category, InterContinental Danang Sun Peninsula Resort (Da Nang) took first place with the "Mi Sol Journey" experience.
The last name on this list is TIA Wellness Resort (Da Nang) with second place, category "Healthcare Program of the Year", after The Heart Retreat Preidhof (Italy).

The "Mi Sol Journey" experience at InterContinental Danang Sun Penisula Resort lasts about 3 hours, using frequency therapy from tuning forks, creating sound waves and vibrations to help open up energy pathways, unblocking the flow of vital energy - which is a natural source of life force.
In an article in SCMP in June, writer Karen Tee called Da Nang the hottest new wellness destination, praising both TIA Wellness Resort and InterContinental Danang Sun Peninsula Resort for their effective wellness treatments.
"Therapists soothed my tired body, leaving me wishing I had been pampered more," Tee commented about TIA Wellness Resort.
Six Senses Ninh Van Bay is also a popular destination for international travelers. This facility was voted in the top 50 resorts in the world in 2022 by readers of Condé Nast Traveler magazine.
The Destination Deluxe Award honors pioneers in the field of wellness travel that “advance the industry’s standards of luxury excellence.” The awards, which are divided into 25 categories, were chosen by 20 judges who are experts in the luxury hospitality and tourism industry.
