Particularly in the online environment, buyers need to pay attention to the product's selling price (often fake goods are many times cheaper than real goods); the seller's address is unclear; product reviews are often virtual and lack authenticity.
When receiving goods and suspecting they are counterfeit, consumers need to collect information from the website, online store, transaction information, product samples, etc. and then promptly provide them to the authorities to protect their rights.

The organizer also displayed and introduced many genuine and fake samples of famous brands protected in Vietnam to help people clearly understand the identification signs.
For example, the brand blum (Austrian kitchen accessories and furniture), counterfeit, smuggled, and intellectual property infringement of this brand often has incorrect names and spellings such as: BLUM, BLUMK, BLUKA, BLUMROO, BLONE; incorrect logo; missing labels; incorrect product packaging; cheap prices; no lifetime warranty.
Victoria's Secret brand products (specializing in American fashion and cosmetics) are also counterfeited a lot. Some easily recognizable signs are: Cheap price; misspelled words printed on the product; no complete label; sloppy, unsophisticated, and uncertain seams; excess glue; dented packaging; messy packaging.
Through the conference, delegates will gain more knowledge and skills to distinguish genuine and fake goods of some famous brands protected in Vietnam; contributing to protecting their own rights, protecting legitimate businesses, and stabilizing the market.
