In recent times, local Party committees and authorities, agencies and units in the Bac Ninh Provincial Armed Forces have focused on improving the quality of building and training the militia and self-defense forces, aiming to improve overall quality and combat readiness, contributing to maintaining stability at the grassroots level, and increasingly better meeting the task of building and defending the Fatherland in the new situation.

In early April, militia units in 8 districts, towns and cities in the province simultaneously held a ceremony to admit new soldiers and open the 2025 militia training. In Que Vo town, this year, the entire town organized the admission of 300 new soldiers to the local militia force.

The Military Command of Bac Ninh province inspected the training of militia and self-defense forces in Que Vo town.

As a locality with many industrial zones and clusters, to ensure sufficient personnel for training, the town has strengthened propaganda work, in which the core force is the cadres of the Commune-level Military Command. Thereby, grasping the ideology, raising awareness of the role of each citizen in building and protecting the Fatherland, contributing to building a solid national defense and people's security posture.

At the training ground of the militia group No. 4, Que Vo town, 84 first-year militia soldiers from the wards of Bang An, Phoi Moi, Phuong Lieu, Nhan Hoa, Dai Xuan and Viet Thong; 14 communes and towns of Yen Phong district enthusiastically practiced. At this training session, the militia soldiers were divided into small groups, each group approached different training content such as: Shooting AK submachine guns, disassembling and assembling guns, throwing grenades... with an enthusiastic and serious spirit. Comrade Nguyen Cam Tu, militia soldier of Pho Moi ward, Que Vo town said: These are not simple contents, requiring a firm grasp of all theoretical content, then practical movements. This will be the basis to ensure technical, tactical and absolute safety factors when testing live ammunition firing.

Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Van Hung, Deputy Commander, Chief of Staff of Que Vo Town Military Command, emphasized: To prepare for the training, the Party Committee and the Town Military Command have proactively advised the Town Party Committee and the Town People's Committee to lead and direct Party committees and authorities of communes, towns, and self-defense units to resolutely implement to make a clear change in the etiquette and manners of officers and soldiers and ensure the number of soldiers participating in the training. The Town Military Command established an organizing committee, a team of teachers, developed a plan, decided to establish a training cluster, assigned targets and did a good job of preparing materials, lesson plans, teaching aids, weapons and equipment, training grounds, and practice grounds. During the training process, officers of the Town Military Command were assigned to closely follow the base, ensuring strict, serious training, correct and sufficient content and time according to regulations, promptly correcting weak content, organizing daily and weekly experience sharing.

During this year's training season, Que Vo town continues to maintain training according to the commune cluster model, divided into 2 training sessions, from April 8 to June 10. Session 1, on-site militia training, self-defense; session 2, militia training, mobile. To ensure traffic safety, absolute safety during the training process, along with maintaining and stabilizing the number of participants, the host units of the Cluster Leaders proactively do a good job of preparation, especially coordinating with mass organizations to ensure logistics for soldiers participating in the training.

According to Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Van Hung, to create excitement in each training hour, the teaching staff of the Que Vo Town Military Command has actively researched, studied, improved their qualifications, teaching methods, practical knowledge, and teaching skills. Thereby, building political qualities, creating unity in perception and action for each militia and self-defense force, helping them understand their position and tasks in the new situation and propagating and mobilizing people to be aware of the task of protecting the Fatherland.

Strictly implementing the training orders of the superiors, the Party Committee and the Provincial Military Command proactively advised, led and implemented the preparation work well, actively innovated the content and methods to improve the quality of militia and self-defense training. To ensure the training process is highly effective, the Provincial Military Command, the Military Commands of districts, towns and cities have organized military training for officers and regular soldiers on the training contents of 2025. Directed the Military Commands at all levels to strictly implement the training plan, fully prepare documents, plans, schedules, materials, models, teaching aids, training grounds and training grounds for training.

Colonel Nguyen Khac Trung, Deputy Commander and Chief of Staff of the Bac Ninh Provincial Military Command, said: During the training process, the Provincial Military Command and the District Military Command regularly assigned officers in charge to closely monitor the area, check the number of troops; monitor the training progress of each unit, strengthen management, education, and discipline training. Through inspection and evaluation, it was shown that the vast majority of officers and soldiers strictly followed the regulations and actively trained to improve their awareness and proficiency in using the weapons equipped, as well as the techniques and tactics of each individual and unit.

With careful preparation of training content, facilities, equipment, training grounds, and training grounds, the 2025 training of the People's Militia and Self-Defense Forces in Bac Ninh province in general and districts, towns, and cities in particular has been put into order, and the training content is guaranteed according to the established plan. This will be the basis to contribute to building an increasingly solid national defense posture associated with a people's security posture, maintaining political security and social order and safety in the area, practically contributing to the successful completion of local military and defense tasks in 2025 and the following years.
