Bac Ninh organizes online shopping and cashless payment events

In his opening speech, Mr. Nguyen Van Phuong, Deputy Director of the Department of Industry and Trade, informed that with a population of about 3.6 million people, being one of the major production and consumption centers of the country, e-commerce and cashless payments in Bac Ninh province have had positive developments.

In the state management of e-commerce, the Department of Industry and Trade has reported, proposed, and consulted with the Ministry of Industry and Trade and relevant agencies in developing policies, tools, and management models to improve e-commerce activities, limiting risks for both buyers and sellers when participating in e-commerce applications and platforms.

For digital transformation to truly go into depth and bring sustainable efficiency, Mr. Nguyen Van Phuong emphasized, it is necessary to have the synchronous participation of management agencies, enterprises, banks, technology organizations, especially the consensus and proactive participation of consumers.

The Department of Industry and Trade pledges to continue to accompany businesses, banks, financial institutions, and technology partners to develop e-commerce and safe, effective, and sustainable cashless payments, contributing to the goal of building a digital economy in the province and the country.

The event also received many comments from representatives of the Department of Science and Technology, the Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development, Bac Ninh Branch, and the Bac Ninh Market E-commerce and Real Estate Floor (under the An Huy Vina system).

The presentations highlighted the significance, role and benefits of e-commerce in today's economic and social life. At the same time, benefits such as loans, information infrastructure, and market data were shared in the most accurate and optimal way to serve the community.

Within the framework of the event, the Department of Industry and Trade organized more than 10 exhibition booths in Vincom Plaza Bac Ninh with more than 200 OCOP products, key products of the province and enterprises located in the area, attracting a large number of local people to come and see.
