And right from the beginning of his residency, the name DrKang officially appeared. In 2006, Dr. Khanh had the opportunity to be trained by Professor Bruant Rodier of Strasbourg University (France) while interning at Viet Duc Hospital. It was Professor Bruant Rodier who gave Tran Bao Khanh the name DrKang. According to him, the name Khanh has a rather difficult accent, the word "Kang" will help Dr. Khanh have a new name, easy to read according to international phonetic transcription. This is an important milestone for his future career when the name is easy to read, easy to remember and gradually becomes prestigious with doctors in the industry.

Immediately after graduating from residency in 2009, Dr. Khanh was accepted directly to work as a lecturer at the Department of Plastic Surgery at Hanoi Medical University, and at the same time began his training abroad.

When studying the country's surgical industry, Dr. Khanh realized that there were too few facilities that met the medical standards of the Ministry of Health and the world. The proof is that there are quite a few medical incidents in the cosmetic surgery industry that have caused unfortunate consequences. That motivated him to study abroad for a long time, learn the most advanced methods and technologies, and contribute to the growth of the country's cosmetic industry.

During the period 2010-2016, he was both a lecturer at the University of Medicine and worked hard to study abroad (Korea, Thailand, Singapore, China, Taiwan). From 2017-2021, he continuously worked at major hospitals in Korea and Thailand and achieved brilliant achievements in the field of cosmetic surgery.

Ambitions and desires to contribute to the Aesthetics industry in Vietnam

After many years of studying abroad, 2022 marked a major turning point in Dr. Khanh's career. He was determined to return home to contribute to the cosmetic surgery industry.

Immediately after returning home, he was invited to be the Director of HYH Medical Group and Etoile de Seoul Aesthetic Hospital, and was also an expert at many major hospitals in the country.

In addition, he also founded Dr. Kang Group and became the President of the Medical University's Aesthetics Department, and specializes in training international students studying in Vietnam.

The goal is to research and apply the latest aesthetic beauty technologies in the world right in Vietnam.

With over 20 years of experience, Dr. Khanh has also participated in many scientific research projects; edited and participated in publishing books on Plastic Surgery: Basic issues in Plastic Surgery, Lectures on Basic Plastic Surgery, Skin Grafting in Plastic Surgery,...

In addition, he also regularly contributes and reports at international conferences on cosmetic surgery.

For himself, Master of Internal Medicine Tran Bao Khanh - DrKang has also established a training academy for young doctors who want to contribute to the beauty industry.

Sharing with reporters, Dr. Khanh confided: “When I can live with my passion, spread good values and contribute to the creation of modern Asian beauty. That is my joy and great happiness throughout a long journey.”

It is known that Dr. Khanh is one of the few people who can completely master microsurgery and is a pioneer in applying this technique to gender reassignment surgery with more than 5,000 successful cases.

With his contributions, during the period 2009-2022, Dr. Khanh was highly appreciated by leading experts in the world for his expertise and was one of four Vietnamese people qualified to become a member of the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ISAPS).
