The presence of international friends creates a highlight for this year's program with activities to introduce and promote Vietnamese culture right at the "Common House".
The “Great Unity of Ethnic Groups - Vietnamese Cultural Heritage” Week took place from November 18 to 23 at the Vietnam National Village for Ethnic Culture and Tourism (Doai Phuong, Hanoi). The series of activities gathered more than 200 representatives of 18 ethnic groups from 12 localities who regularly live here.
The event honors the tradition of national solidarity and celebrates Vietnam Cultural Heritage Day (November 23), thereby affirming the strength of solidarity among ethnic groups that has been formed and nurtured throughout history. This tradition continues to be a solid spiritual foundation in the cause of national construction and development.
Along with the diverse and unique series of activities taking place during the Great Solidarity Week, the program to promote and introduce Vietnamese culture to international friends taking place on November 21 at the "Common House" will create a space to preserve and spread the image of the country, culture and people of Vietnam to the international community.
The activity focuses on introducing an overview of the Vietnam National Village for Ethnic Culture and Tourism and the journey of connecting, preserving and spreading the cultural values of the 54 ethnic communities. Visual images and bilingual explanations help international visitors access the diverse cultural space of Vietnamese ethnic groups in a systematic and vivid way.

In addition to the presentations and introductions, international delegates will directly experience cultural life, interact with artisans and local people, and enjoy typical traditional dishes. Each dish is explained as a cultural story and is selected to suit the different cultures, beliefs, and customs of international guests.
Through interactive experiences, visitors have the opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of the cultural life, solidarity and compassion of the 54 ethnic groups in Vietnam. This connection contributes to strengthening friendship, promoting people-to-people exchanges and expanding cooperation in the fields of culture and tourism.
On the same evening, the opening art program of the Week of "Great Unity of Ethnic Groups - Vietnamese Cultural Heritage" and the 2nd Muong Ethnic Cultural Festival will bring a panoramic picture of a Vietnam rich in identity and dynamic in integration.
