American "Super Tiger" is being accused by his ex-girlfriend Erica Herman of using his job to exchange for physical relations with her, according to documents filed in a Florida court on May 5.
"Mr. Woods was Ms. Herman's boss. Through the facts described by Mr. Woods, he imposed a non-disclosure agreement as a condition of keeping his job when his client began a romantic relationship with him. An employer pressuring his employee in this way is an act of sexual harassment," plaintiff attorney Benjamin Hobas said in a court filing.
According to Hobas, Woods tricked his lover into leaving his home, barred her from the house, kept her money, pets, and personal belongings, and forced her to sign another nondisclosure agreement (NDA) to avoid further legal trouble. However, Herman refused to sign another NDA.

Herman's side requested the court to hold a public trial, but Woods' side argued that the mediation had to be private because the two sides were bound by an NDA signed in 2017. Herman's lawyer said that this document, which was submitted to the court, was three pages long and did not guarantee its authenticity, as more than half of its content had been edited and his client did not remember signing it.
Woods hired Herman in 2014, when he was preparing to open his own restaurant in Jupiter, Florida. After the opening, she became general manager. Then came the dating phase. In 2016, Herman moved into the former world number one's private mansion in Hobe Sound, which Woods entrusted to the Jupiter Island Irrevocable Homestead Trust, a business he founded.
Woods and Herman split late last year. Shortly after the split, Herman sued the Homestead Trust for $30 million, filing the suit on October 23, 2022.
In her lawsuit against the Homestead Trust, Herman said she was set up by the plaintiffs to lose her rights to Woods’s home. According to Herman, the property management company asked her to pack her things and go to the airport for a vacation, but when she arrived, they announced that the house was closed.
She claimed she was allowed to stay here for five more years after the breakup, according to a verbal agreement with Woods. The lawyer representing "Super Tiger" denied this information.
In March 2023, Herman filed a motion asking the court to consider releasing her from the “no-disclosure” clause in her agreement with Woods under a new federal privacy law that goes into effect in late 2022. At the time, Golfweek said that was the biggest obstacle to Herman’s ability to take Woods to court directly in the future on charges of sexual assault or abuse.
