Handing over the solidarity house in Hanh Trung commune

On the morning of April 29, Quang Ngai Newspaper in coordination with BIDV Dung Quat and the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hanh Trung commune organized a house handover ceremony for Mr. Nguyen Huu Hien (88 years old) and his wife, Mrs. Nguyen Thi Ho (81 years old), in Hiep Pho Bac village.

Quang Ngai Newspaper in coordination with BIDV Dung Quat and the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hanh Trung commune organized a house handover ceremony and presented gifts to Mr. Nguyen Huu Hien and his wife.

After a period of construction, the house of Mr. Nguyen Huu Hien and Mrs. Nguyen Thi Ho (81 years old) has been completed with a total cost of about 95 million VND. Of which, BIDV Dung Quat supported 60 million VND through the connection of Quang Ngai Newspaper. Sharing the joy of the new house, Mrs. Nguyen Thi Ho confided that the couple is old and weak, while the house is old and degraded. Thanks to the attention of Quang Ngai Newspaper, BIDV Dung Quat and local authorities, they were able to build a new house. They are very happy!

Speaking at the house handover ceremony, Secretary of the Party Committee of Hanh Trung Commune Nguyen Van Dao said that, implementing the Program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses, in Hanh Trung Commune, there are 10 houses that need to be rebuilt or repaired. The house of Mr. Nguyen Huu Hien and his wife is the last house to be handed over. During the construction process, the locality always monitored and encouraged to support the family. On behalf of the locality, the commune leaders expressed their thanks to Quang Ngai Newspaper and BIDV Dung Quat for accompanying the Program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in the commune. Up to now, Quang Ngai Newspaper has connected and mobilized funds to support the construction of 3 houses in Hanh Trung Commune.

In 2025, actively responding to the Program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in the province, Quang Ngai Newspaper connected and mobilized units, businesses, officials, civil servants and employees of the agency to support the construction of 10 houses for families with housing difficulties, with a total amount of 590 million VND. This is one of the activities carried out by Quang Ngai Newspaper, to celebrate major events of Quang Ngai province in 2025, such as the 80th anniversary of Ba To Uprising Day (March 11, 1945 - March 11, 2025); 50th anniversary of Quang Ngai Province Liberation Day (March 24, 1975 - March 24, 2025) and towards the 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day (June 21, 1925 - June 21, 2025).

Previously, in 2024, Quang Ngai Newspaper connected to build 12 solidarity houses for the poor and disadvantaged people in the province.
