On August 15, the Indian band Tetseo Sisters will perform at the Au Co Arts Center (Vietnam National Music and Dance Theater), 8 Huynh Thuc Khang, Ba Dinh, Hanoi.

The music night was organized by the Embassy of India in Hanoi and the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism on the occasion of the 77th anniversary of Indian Independence Day (August 15, 1947 - August 15, 2023).

Tetseo Sisters is a folk fusion music group from the state of Nagaland.

Hailing from the city of Kohima, the band members (who are sisters) have dedicated their youth to promoting the almost forgotten music of the Chakhesang Naga tribe, a form of music they inherited from their parents.

They like to call themselves storytellers, performing songs that have been passed down orally to audiences in their most pristine form, but often with a contemporary twist.

Before the show in Hanoi, the band also had shows in Hai Duong city, Lao Cai province, Bac Ninh province and Quang Ninh province.
