On the morning of November 29, many Vietnamese artists and music lovers were shocked by the news of musician Xuan Phuong's death.

Sharing with VTC News , singer Minh Quan emotionally said: "Mr. Xuan Phuong passed away at 9am this morning. Many of us did not know that Mr. Phuong was sick because he hid it.

I just found out a few days ago that he was sick, but it was already in the final stages. I was still hoping for some miracle, but I didn't expect him to pass away so soon."

The 3A band once performed very successfully the song "Mong uoc ky niem xua" by musician Xuan Phuong. Before the sudden passing of the male musician, Ngoc Anh of the 3A band was moved:

"I can't believe that he, musician Xuan Phuong, the brother who started with me to create the band Golden Key, the brother who gave the group 3A a song that touched millions of hearts with the immortal Old Memories, has gone forever...

Singer Viet Tu was shocked when he received the news that musician Xuan Phuong had passed away: "I just heard that Phuong was sick a few days ago, I didn't think it would happen so soon." People's Artist Tu Long lamented: "So sad. So soon! Shocked when I heard the news."

Singer Khanh Linh emotionally shared memories of her brother - the late musician Ngoc Chau and musician Xuan Phuong: "These two brothers were very close, brother Chau always said that the best piano player must be Xuan Phuong. Xuan Phuong started writing music in 1997. The song "Mong uoc ky niem xua cua anh" was used as the soundtrack for the movie "Xin hay tin em" and became a song loved by many generations of Vietnamese students.
