Minh Duc pink cake production facility (No. 231 Quang Trung, Tam Quan Bac Ward, Hoai Nhon Town), owned by Ms. Dang Thi Duc, is one of the familiar addresses when it comes to the province's traditional specialties. Pink cake is a dish that often appears in the wedding tray of people in the Central region. The cake is made from sticky rice, sugar and fresh coconut, with a characteristic sweet, fatty, and fragrant flavor. Thanks to keeping the traditional recipe and improving packaging and design, Minh Duc's products were recognized as meeting the 3-star OCOP standard at the provincial level in 2018.
Ms. Dang Thi Duc shared: We always try to preserve the old flavor and add flavors and colors from natural ingredients such as pandan green and purple sticky rice to diversify our products.
Minh Duc facility also continuously expands its consumption market through e-commerce channels, supermarkets and trade promotion fairs inside and outside the province. Thanks to that, Minh Duc pink cake brand gradually affirms its position in the market, contributing to bringing Binh Dinh's hometown specialty far and wide.
