Speaking at the opening of the Workshop, Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Ho An Phong highly appreciated the preparation work for the Workshop by the Press Department, Culture Newspaper and the Hanoi Association of Small and Medium Enterprises.
According to the Deputy Minister, the Workshop is a practical activity, on the occasion of the Politburo issuing Resolution No. 68-NQ/TW on private economic development. The Resolution is one of the four important pillars to help the country grow.
The Deputy Minister said that in order to develop businesses sustainably and creatively in the new era, businesses must pay attention to developing corporate culture.
Corporate culture is an essential factor in business development. Culture also helps increase the value of a business's products, access the market and easily reach customers.
According to Deputy Minister Ho An Phong, the press plays an important role in accompanying the building and development of corporate culture. The press has discovered, criticized, and spread the core values in corporate culture. The press is not only a bridge but also a communication channel, participating in creating and developing corporate culture. The press helps handle communication crises for businesses; connecting businesses and their products to people and society.

Along with that, the press spreads positive images, values, and missions in corporate culture; telling stories about the company's products.
Presenting the introductory report at the Workshop, Editor-in-Chief of Culture Newspaper Nguyen Anh Vu emphasized that in the development of corporate culture, the press is considered a companion and promoter of corporate culture.
The press also contributes to promoting policy dialogue between the State - enterprises - society on issues related to business ethics, administrative procedure reform, improving the investment environment; supporting enterprises in building communication strategies, shaping images, brands and core values.
The press is not only a news carrier, but also a “companion” and “creator”, contributing to the construction of a humane and modern business ecosystem. In the digital age, when information is an essential resource, the press can become a pioneer in building and disseminating corporate cultural values to society and the community.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Bich Loan, Member of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Development Association, Former Vice President of Hanoi University of Commerce, mentioned the press and businesses in fulfilling their social responsibilities in the new era.
With the mission of being the voice of the times, the bridge between the State, businesses and society, the press not only reports and reflects, but also plays a role in creating, orienting, and guiding awareness and action. In the era of digital transformation, deep integration and strong globalization, the press has more opportunities and responsibilities in accompanying businesses to build and develop corporate culture in the direction of humanity, integrity, responsibility and innovation.
From the perspective of a journalist, journalist Nguyen Ngoc Thanh, Head of the People's Electronic Department, People's Newspaper said: "The press must follow the principles and purposes of the newspaper. When it does that, the press has supported businesses. In the current context, both the press and businesses are facing many challenges and difficulties. Therefore, both sides need to have a close connection."
