Ensuring medical care for delegates, officers, soldiers and people attending the April 30 ceremony

On April 27, Minister of Health Dao Hong Lan visited and encouraged the team of doctors and nurses performing the task of ensuring medical care for the people at the 50th Anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025).

Inspecting the Mobile Medical Center of People's Hospital 115 and the Emergency Station of Military Hospital 175 ( Ministry of National Defense ), Minister Dao Hong Lan highly appreciated the thoughtful and comprehensive preparation in ensuring medical services for the April 30th celebration of the units.

The Minister noted that in the context of crowded streets and large crowds in the central area, emergency situations that require timely first aid may arise. The health sector should proactively develop plans to transport patients by motorbike or other flexible means, and be ready to respond in case the ambulance has difficulty accessing them.

Units need to have clear contact points in handling incidents, specific assignments and close and smooth coordination. In addition, it is possible to equip a notebook with internal contact list and walkie-talkie codes to help contact points accurately and quickly in emergency situations.

"I don't expect a bad situation to happen, but we must have scenarios for all situations to ensure the highest safety for people. Mobile medical stations need to be fully prepared with essential medicines, basic medical supplies and first aid equipment, ensuring the ability to quickly handle health situations on the spot," Minister of Health Dao Hong Lan noted.

At the same time, the Minister of Health hopes that medical staff will maintain their health, coordinate well, complete their tasks excellently, and not let any incidents occur, contributing to ensuring absolute medical safety and security for the people and forces participating in the country's important event.
