
This is a meaningful activity on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025).
Speaking at the gift-giving ceremony for poor students who have overcome difficulties, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Hanoi Moi Newspaper Luong Chi Cong said that on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day, Hanoi Moi Newspaper, the Liaison Committee of the Long An Province Association in Ho Chi Minh City, along with businesses, schools in Ho Chi Minh City, and philanthropists organized a program to give 30 gifts to poor students who have overcome difficulties in Duc Hue District, Long An Province.

“These small gifts are a sharing and a source of encouragement for the students. I hope that in the coming time, the students will strive to practice, cultivate morality, study well to become useful citizens for society and contribute to building the homeland and country to become more and more prosperous,” said Mr. Luong Chi Cong.
Principal of My Thanh Dong Secondary School (Duc Hue District, Long An Province) Nguyen Minh Toan expressed his emotion when in the last days of the historic April, Hanoi Moi Newspaper and philanthropists showed their affection and chose the school to give meaningful gifts to poor students who have overcome difficulties. These gifts are truly a source of encouragement and motivation for the students to continue to try hard to study and practice to achieve even better results.

“In the coming time, we hope that Hanoi Moi Newspaper and philanthropists will have more practical and meaningful activities in Long An province,” said Mr. Nguyen Minh Toan.
Sharing at the ceremony, Nguyen Le Thuy An, a student of class 7/1, My Thanh Dong Secondary School, said that she was born into a family with difficult circumstances, her parents were unemployed, and her daily life was extremely difficult. To be able to go to school like her peers, she had to work very hard. Today, receiving the attention and gifts from Hanoi Moi Newspaper and other benefactors, she was very touched and grateful.
