Vietnam Law Newspaper propagates law and school traffic safety for the third time in Ca Mau

On the side of Vietnam Law Newspaper (the program organizer), there were Journalist Tran Ngoc Ha - Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Vietnam Law Newspaper, Head of the Program Organizing Committee; Journalist Tran Phong Tran - Head of Vietnam Law Newspaper Representative Office in Can Tho (Mekong Delta); Mr. Do Quang Truong, Head of Multimedia Communications Department.

This is the main activity of the Caravan program "Propaganda and dissemination of laws on school traffic safety, volunteering and trade promotion in Ca Mau" organized by Vietnam Law Newspaper, following the success of the first Caravan program in Dak Nong province and the second in Ninh Thuan province.

Ca Mau Traffic Police propagate and disseminate traffic safety laws and practice real-life situations on traffic safety and order, instructing on how to wear helmets properly.

At this program, with many practical and meaningful contents such as the Organizing Committee awarding prizes for the 3rd Contest "Learning about road traffic laws and school traffic safety for middle and high school students in Ca Mau province". At the same time, promoting road traffic laws, giving standard helmets, scholarships, bicycles to children of families of traffic accident victims with difficult circumstances in the province.

Through this, the program has contributed to raising awareness and sense of compliance with traffic safety laws of people when participating in traffic, especially students, parents, officials, civil servants, employees, workers at agencies, units, schools and local people. In particular, it has created a useful playground, attracting a large number of local people to participate; helping and supporting students with difficult circumstances to overcome difficulties and excel in their studies.

Mr. Nguyen Minh Luan - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of Ca Mau Provincial People's Committee spoke at the program.

Speaking at the program, on behalf of the Provincial Party Committee and the People's Committee of Ca Mau province, Mr. Nguyen Minh Luan - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee respectfully thanked the Vietnam Law Newspaper for coordinating and choosing Ca Mau province as the locality to organize the Traffic Safety Communication Event in 2025. This is a practical program, meaningful in spreading the spirit of civilized living and safe traffic to the community.

“The message that the program sends to students is that traffic safety is not only a right to be protected, but also a responsibility that each person needs to proactively carry out. Respecting the law and complying with traffic regulations is the way for students to protect themselves, for the peace and happiness of each family, for the safety of society,” said the Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Ca Mau province.

Journalist Tran Ngoc Ha - Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Vietnam Law Newspaper (Head of the program's Organizing Committee) spoke at the program.

At the program, Journalist Tran Ngoc Ha - Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Vietnam Law Newspaper, Head of the program's Organizing Committee said: Every year, worldwide, 13.5 million people die and about 50 million people are permanently disabled due to traffic accidents, causing a loss of about 2.5% of global GDP.

“This is a volunteer journey, bringing many values and humanistic meanings. I hope that we will start with all our hearts, with all our attitudes and solidarity to bring traffic safety laws to students. From there, raise awareness of traffic culture as well as compliance, contributing to reducing traffic accidents among students", affirmed the Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Vietnam Law Newspaper.

Mr. Le Kim Thanh - Vice Chairman of the National Traffic Safety Committee called on students to learn legal knowledge and practice traffic skills to protect themselves.

Also at the program, Mr. Le Kim Thanh - Vice Chairman of the National Traffic Safety Committee, hoped that with a spirit of learning, seriousness, learning a lot of knowledge, practicing traffic participation skills, not only to protect themselves but also to contribute to building a safe, civilized, and compassionate traffic environment.

On this occasion, the Organizing Committee of the 3rd school traffic safety law dissemination program awarded 100 scholarships (each worth 1 million VND); 50 bicycles to students in difficult circumstances related to traffic accidents; 2,500 helmets and 700 backpacks to students.

The program's organizers donated clean drinking water systems, 500 water bottles and 20 stone benches to schools in Ca Mau province. Next, the organizers honored the sponsors who had made positive contributions to the success of the 3rd school traffic safety law dissemination program in Ca Mau.

Representatives of the Organizing Committee and leaders of the Department of Education and Training of Ca Mau presented helmets to students.

The Organizing Committee of the 3rd school traffic safety law dissemination program in Ca Mau took a photo with a giant helmet model measuring 3m high, 3.3m wide and weighing 1 ton.

At the end of the program, the convoy of Vietnam Law Newspaper with banners and slogans promoting traffic safety laws paraded on the main roads of Ca Mau city (Ca Mau province).

Previously, at 5:30 a.m. on May 30, the third season of the Caravan officially kicked off with the participation of 130 members and 42 self-driving cars, departing from Ho Chi Minh City to Ca Mau. The group will conduct traffic safety propaganda and disseminate laws in areas with high traffic accident rates.

Speaking at the departure ceremony, Journalist Tran Ngoc Ha - Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Vietnam Law Newspaper presented the flag to the Head of the Road Committee and the Permanent Deputy Organizing Committee, and wished the journey a smooth and successful journey.
