Assessing the upcoming challenge, captain Do Duy Manh said: “We know that the Malaysian team has a number of quality naturalized players. The upcoming match will certainly not be easy, especially when playing at Bukit Jalil Stadium with enthusiastic support from the home crowd. However, the whole team is in good spirits and actively preparing the final stages to aim for a favorable result.”
Talking about the heat on the away field, Do Duy Manh said that for professional players, it is normal and they have to adapt: "We have experience playing at Bukit Jalil in the first leg of the AFF Cup 2018 final, so we understand the heat here. The whole team will try to adapt to the weather conditions, practice hard to have the best preparation."
Do Duy Manh also hopes that fans will continue to accompany and cheer to give more motivation to the whole team in this important match.
