Quang Tri Newspaper - Thien Tam Fund: Giving Tet gifts to the poor in the spring of At Ty

This morning, January 10, at Quang Tri Newspaper, the program "Tet gifts for the poor" organized by Quang Tri Newspaper and Thien Tam Fund - Vingroup Corporation presented 74 gifts to the poor and disadvantaged people in the province. Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Quang Tri Newspaper Nguyen Ty said that as a Party Newspaper, in addition to doing a good job in professional work, in recent years, Quang Tri Newspaper has always paid attention to organizing social and charitable activities, aiming to contribute to the province's implementation of social security work in the area. The program of giving "Tet gifts to the poor" is organized annually by Quang Tri Newspaper. On the occasion of Tet At Ty - 2025, from the sponsorship of Thien Tam Fund - Vingroup Corporation, from the morning of January 10, Quang Tri Newspaper began to organize the giving of 1,500 Tet gifts, each worth 600,000 VND in cash with a total implementation cost of 900 million VND to poor households and especially difficult circumstances, including many cases reflected in the "Address for help" column of Quang Tri Newspaper to welcome a warm and joyful Tet.

On this occasion, the Program presented 74 Tet gifts, of which 36 were given to poor households in Ward 3, Dong Ha City and 38 were given to particularly disadvantaged cases in the province.

Receiving Tet gifts from the leaders of Quang Tri Newspaper, many people were moved and deeply grateful for the gesture of Quang Tri Newspaper and Thien Tam Fund. Ms. Nguyen Thi Loi, 71 years old, in Quarter 1, Ward 3, Dong Ha City happily said: “I am now old, weak and living alone in a small, seriously degraded house, so I face many difficulties in life. When I heard the information that I would receive Tet gifts, I was very happy. I would like to thank Quang Tri Newspaper and Thien Tam Fund for giving me practical and meaningful gifts so that I can welcome a warm and joyful new year.”

After presenting Tet gifts at Quang Tri Newspaper, the program "Tet gifts for the poor" in the spring of At Ty - 2025 continued to organize the presentation of 1,426 Tet gifts to the poor in Dong Ha City, Quang Tri Town and Cam Lo, Hai Lang, Gio Linh, Vinh Linh, Trieu Phong districts.
