Dien Bien Phu Historical Victory Museum extends opening hours

Kinhtedothi - To celebrate the 70th anniversary of Dien Bien Phu Victory (May 7, 1954 - May 7, 2024) and during the April 30 - May 1 holiday, the Dien Bien Phu Historical Victory Museum (Dien Bien province) opens some additional evenings during the week to meet the needs of visitors.

From April 5 to May 31, the Museum will open to visitors every Friday and Saturday evening. On May 6 and 7, the unit will also open to serve visitors both during the day and in the evening. Opening hours in the evening are from 7:30 pm to 9:00 pm. This activity is to meet the needs of visitors to the Museum who want to admire the Panorama painting "Dien Bien Phu Campaign".

The highlight of the Museum is the Panorama painting "Dien Bien Phu Campaign". This is the largest painting in Southeast Asia and one of the three largest paintings in the world. The painting is painted with oil on canvas with 4,500 characters and mountain and forest landscapes, completely and seamlessly recreating typical battles following the development of the Dien Bien Phu campaign, giving viewers a complete, intuitive and vivid perspective, combined with majestic music .
