According to Bild , Bayern have made an official offer to Jonathan Tah to invite the player to the Allianz Arena as a free agent. Tah has announced that he will leave Leverkusen after the 2024/25 season, when both parties' contracts expire and they have the right to negotiate with any team this summer.

The reigning Bundesliga champions have contacted and sent a preliminary contract to Tah since the end of April. However, the defender has not responded because he wants to focus on his home club.

Tah is certain to leave Leverkusen at the end of the season.

In addition to Bayern, Barcelona and Real Madrid are also keeping an eye on Tah. Barca wanted to sign the German centre-back months ago. However, with Ronald Araujo, Andreas Christensen, and Eric Garcia still at Camp Nou, the club does not have enough space in their salary budget to welcome the 1996-born star.

Meanwhile, Real have just jumped into the race to sign Tah, after Spanish media confirmed that Xabi Alonso will become the new coach of the Royal team. With a good relationship with the 29-year-old student, Coach Alonso is expected to convince Tah to join the Bernabeu next season.

Previously, Real successfully convinced a star to join as a free agent, Trent Alexander-Arnold. The full-back born in 1999 is expected to join his new team at the FIFA Club World Cup taking place in June.
