Mr. Phan Tuan Anh - Vice Chairman of Truong Son Commune People's Committee informed: At around 5:00 a.m. on May 23, Mr. Nguyen Kim Sinh, Nguyen Van Chien, and Phan Van Tuat (all residing in Truong Son Commune) went fishing with nets and discovered an abandoned newborn baby girl on the road in Ngo Loi village.
After discovering the discovery, local people informed the authorities and the medical station took the baby girl in for care. The baby girl weighs 3.2kg and is currently in stable health.
The local authorities have made a record of the incident and temporarily handed it over to Truong Son Commune Health Station for care and notified relatives.
