Gaining more than 5 million social media views, 170 thousand visitors and 10 thousand people attending art seminars are impressive summary figures, affirming the success of the Photo Hanoi'23 International Photography Exhibition.

On the evening of June 3, the closing ceremony of Photo Hanoi'23 - International Photography Biennale took place in Hanoi , attracting the attention of the public, experts and press agencies.

Attending the program were Director of Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports Do Dinh Hong, French Ambassador Nicolas Warnery, Swiss Ambassador Thomas Gass, along with many photographers, curators and art critics.

Speaking at the event, Director of the Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports Do Dinh Hong expressed his joy and appreciation for the initial success of the implementation of the International Photography Biennale project. The event took place on schedule, had a widespread effect and left many deep impressions on the audience.

"Hanoi City welcomes this project as a very meaningful cultural gift, implemented right on the occasion of Vietnam and France solemnly celebrating the 50th anniversary of establishing diplomatic relations. In the coming time, Hanoi's cultural sector hopes to continue receiving the support of international organizations, especially domestic and foreign artists. Thereby, contributing to the sustainable development of the capital's cultural industry", Mr. Do Dinh Hong shared more.

The exhibition is a platform to further connect diplomatic relations and partnerships, enhancing the image and prestige of Hanoi in the eyes of friends from all over the world. The city is expected to be a regular meeting place for activities of the art community as well as international tourism organizations.

French Ambassador Nicolas Warnery said that we are taking the first steps of a wonderful journey, bringing a lot of passion and excitement. It is a journey that contributes to the professionalization of the entire creative ecosystem and promotes the economic development of Hanoi.

Hanoi City is always committed and determined to successfully implement cultural initiatives and projects within the framework of the UNESCO Creative Cities Network through a variety of cultural fields and artistic forms. Thereby, actively contributing to promoting international cooperation and cultural integration between Hanoi Capital on a bilateral and multilateral basis with countries and international organizations in the region and the world.

Also at the closing ceremony, the organizing committee looked back on the program's implementation journey, shared joy about the results achieved, and reviewed and evaluated the shortcomings in the implementation process. It is promised that in 2025, Photo Hanoi'25 will take place again with more new initiatives and ideas than before.
