Attending the opening ceremony were Ms. Pham Thi To Trang, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Hai Phong City, Head of the Organizing Committee; representatives of leaders of relevant departments, branches and units, and many young athletes participating in the competition.
The 2025 Hai Phong City Swimming and Rescue Tournament for Children and Children to Prevent Accidents and Injuries was organized by the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism in coordination with the City Water Sports Federation. The tournament attracted the participation of nearly 400 athletes from 43 units in the city, taking place from July 16 to July 19, 2025 at Ben Binh Swimming Pool (No. 1 Nguyen Thuong Hien, Minh Khai Ward, Hong Bang District).
This is a meaningful sport activity, contributing to promoting the swimming movement, equipping children with drowning prevention skills, and creating a healthy and useful playground during the summer.
After 3 exciting days, the Organizing Committee awarded gold, silver and bronze medals in the competition categories, in which Ho Sen unit won first prize overall, second prize went to Paradisse team, third prize went to DN SWIN1 team.
The 2025 Hai Phong City Swimming and Drowning Prevention and Control Tournament for Children is a prestigious tournament with many years of tradition. The tournament not only creates a healthy playground for children but also contributes to raising awareness of all levels, sectors and the whole society about the role of physical education and sports, especially swimming in improving health and preventing drowning accidents. Through the tournament, the work of propaganda, education , and mobilization of families, schools and communities on knowledge and skills to prevent drowning for children will be promoted, contributing to minimizing accidents and injuries caused by drowning.
